The fine print

Privacy, HIPAA & accessibility.

Plain-English versions of the policies that protect you. Questions? Call (512) 555-0176.

Privacy

What we collect, and why.

When you request an appointment or contact us, we collect your name, phone, email and whatever you tell us about your visit. We use it only to schedule and provide your care — never sold, never shared with marketers. Website analytics are aggregated and anonymous. To review or delete your information, email hello@alderbrookdental.com.

HIPAA notice

Your health information is protected.

As a dental practice, we follow HIPAA. Your records, X-rays, treatment plans and messages are stored securely and shared only with your consent, your insurers for claims you authorize, or when the law requires it. You may request a copy of your records at any time, request corrections, and ask for confidential communications. Our full Notice of Privacy Practices is available at the front desk and by email on request. Complaints can be made to us directly or to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services — filing one will never affect your care.

Accessibility

Care — and this site — for everyone.

Our studio is step-free with accessible restrooms and chairs that accommodate mobility devices. This website aims for WCAG 2.1 AA: semantic landmarks, keyboard-operable menus and accordions, visible focus states, labeled forms and reduced-motion support. If anything here is hard to use, call (512) 555-0176 and we'll help immediately — and fix it.
